I tried to OC my G1 but it wouldn't keep the clock speed.

Any benchmarking?

I ran my milestone at 800Mhz at stock vsel of 56 fine, it took 68 to run 1100 Mhz but it ate my battery like candy. Since my new galaxy S II isnt insured yet I will wait on it, but at 1.2Ghz dual core and a dedicated 400Mhz GPU it is plenty fast.

Can't overclock mine yet. Needs a different kernel to do so.

Galaxy SII owner here, too, do not feel the need to overclock. And I'm not willing to risk turning my expensive piece of plastic that is essentially just a toy into an expensive piece of plastic that is just an expensive piece of plastic.

Also i don't play any games that would profit from a higher clock, or intense apps or something... other than that, there's no benefits from overclocking, is there.

I overclocked my iPhone, but had to install an iFan on it...

I played with my previous phone,or the one before that. WM6.5 either way. It seemed rather pointless. My mom won't hang up faster when she calls me.

Brilliant. I literally laughed my ass off. You owe me a new ass. Preferrably one that can bear more luggage on its back than my previous one.

You might be a nerd if...

Your phone wasn't fast enough at dialing a 10 digit number so you overclocked it.

I tried overclocking my PC at work, BIOS won't let me and I don't have admin rights to install anything, bah I say, BAH!

I did overclock my eeePC tho, now it can play Need for Speed III (from '98) at a decent framerate. What else would you need an eeePC for?

Also my car is overclocked. It has chiptuning.

Too bad their clock power can't be put to any use. Like having 590s in quad-SLI and no monitor.

I have my "free" upgrade coming up so I could care less if this one dies. Its set to vary between 300 and 1450 so battery life is the same. I play quake on mine so I bumped clocks up for it to be happy.

And how does Quake play with a touch screen? Do you even see the shit flying at you with insane velocity? Granted its a rather big screen but still.
