How will Dexter get caught?

Figure the series can't go on forever. He might eventually "get better", but come on, who thinks there's a virgin's chance in LA of that happening? So it will have to be something dramatic. I think he will eventually be caught.

For example, he sees an ad that says 'how to slash your cellophane bill.' He likes their use of the word 'slash', even if he's more the stabby type, and does use an ass load of cellophane.

So he goes to check it out. He says he goes through a few thousand yards every month. But then he finds out he's in the wrong place. It turns out that what the ad really said was 'how to slash your cellphone bill.'

Except now they're suspicious about what a blood spatter tech would need with thousands of yards of cellophane and there is an investigation.

Normally Dex subverts these sorts of inquiries and the investigators end up looking like dogs chasing their own tail and getting tied up in their own leash. But this time is different and Dex is down for the count.

In the books his sister actually finds out about his "Dark Passenger" and his son starts to show the same type pf behavior he had as a child and he teaches his son to control it as he does.

Hard to say though, the show has gone off the reservation from the books since season 2. (in the books it was during the sequence with his brother that Deb finds out about his secret when he rescues her).

Love the show though.

I think that as long as he goes by Harry's code he'll never get caught. If he did, Cody, Astor & Harrison would be fucked up for life (if they're not already).

Haven't cared for the show as much since they decided to ignore the books, its turned into more of a damned romance series with all the hand wringing over the relationships of the characters. When does Dexter actually get to kill anyone anymore?

I'm pretty sure even the girl is fucked up along with his brother even if she doesn't have a Dark Passenger of her own as yet.

Ok, just kidding. I'm still only part way through the last season and I sort of like the fact that he now has an apprentice. I can't wait to see how they get the motivational speaker without getting caught. That POS deserves to die. :D

As much as I told myself that I would hate season 5 after Rita died, it ended up being pretty good.
