i have thought about this idea for a long time. if it works out i'll be happy but im not sure that it will.
my idea is that possibly one of us is a doctor/nurse or well knowledged person that can help us all diagnose our medical problems/issues.
if that doesnt work maybe we can help eachother by use of knowledge from our past experiences.

i recently stopped eating/drinking caffeine and have cut down on my sugar intake.
i used to drink 4-10 sodas a day along with at least 1 candy bar.
i now drink lots of water, juice, and milk.
for some reason i fart about 300% more since i have changed my diet.
is this normal?

Not a doctor yet - give me about 8 years and i will be.
ALL i drink is water and juice and i barely fart at all. Depends how much juice your drinking - orange juice is a natural laxative.
What about your solids, that changed recently/ what are they?
(PS - For some reason i think Bta is some kind of doctor person)

i eat alot of meat, dairy, potatoes, cheese, breads, beans, pasta, pizza and such.
no much veggies or fruits at all. only occasionally.
the #2 department has been less than solid as well. i eat shredded wheat every morning and sometimes at night.
i do drink quite a bit of juice ya. prolly 3-4 glasses a day. usually fruit punch and tropical punch and v8 sometimes apple or cranapple. i see it as a supplement to my non-eating of fruits/veggies

Good for you man! Keep consuming a lot of fiber, keep the juice intake to a minumum as it still contains a lot of sugar and drink water whenever you can. Force yourself to eat vegetables, as tough as it is at first, eventually you'll reach for vegatables more when you want to eat or are looking for a snack. The farting comes with a change in diet as your body needs to figure out how to break down the less-processed food you are now eating. Keep it up, your body will adjust and you will feel awesome.

Ok, next is me. I eat a lot of sugar, i have all the sign of diabetes (studied it in the college and my father is diabetic) but the thing is, that i have a thing to diagnose how much sugar i have in blood and i dont have barely nothing. I went to the doctor to see if i was diabetic and im not and really, really eat A LOT OF SUGAR, so... WTF.

You are hypoglycemic. Your pancreas is overproducing insulin and dropping your blood sugar. Keep the sugar intake up and it works even harder dropping it further. If you continue the way you are going, you will burn out your pancreas and become diabetic. My mom is the exact same way, but she has completely gotten off from refined sugar and her blood sugar stabilized.

The 411 on Flatus (http://www.afraidtoask.com/bowel/gas.html)
If you really want to cut down on flatus, you got to get away from most vegetables.
Gas...really isn't a problem (beyond awkward social situations). As long as you are having regular bowel movements everything should be fine and dandy.

i poop 3-4 times a day and its semi-solid most of the time. hardly ever logs anymore. ROFL
my gf hates the farts as they come in multiples and they are loud enough for ppl down the street to hear.

Sounds to me like diarrhea (albeit mild). The average adult only has a bowel movement once or twice a day. More dietary fiber might help. If this has been going on for a long time (like a week) you best see a doctor to make sure something more serious isn't happening.

If it happened after a diet change you could just need to get acclimated to it.
That happened when I quit eating fast food.

it's a good idea only problem with it is if someone gets the wrong advice and maybe doesn't go to see there doctor then that would make this site liable
which obvoiusly isn't a good thing
my advice is if you have any problems go and see your doctor check yourself
regularly(in your manly bits)for anything diferent bumps lumps and if you have any pain or tenderness
don't be a whimp get your ass to your doctor if you can't say what's wrong or what you thinks wrong ,write it down and if you don't have any luck with one doctor ask to see another ,and for gods sake don't leave it see one

I always IM bta when I find odd spots and/or bumps on my body. He then assures me I don't have cancer and I'm happy.

Just because Bta is from India, doesn't make him a doctor!

No, but he is a doctor in training. He was even called on by the Indian govt to aid the field hospitals after a round of terrorist bombings in his country.

Gas from aerated drinks (cola, soda, beer, etc) are pushed out right from your stomach through belches, since it becomes all the more insoluble in the acidic environment of your stomach, whereas, the gas you release as farts is the one produced from later stages of digestion (breaking down of proteins to release hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide, etc). Pulses, nuts, grams, and even milk can produce gas.

It's illegal for doctors to give freelance advice outside of a hospital. They can be charged with mal-practice if they do.

Go ahead, spot the "freelance advice" in this thread. Your medical laws prohibit your practitioners from prescribing drugs outside a registered clinic, public health center, or hospital. Nobody is seeking a prescription here, which is what "advice" is.
