This is really a vent post as it's starting to get old, I have had my car for 2 months now, and in the last 1.5 months (6 weeks) it has been hit 4 times  And 0 times has anyone ever stopped, everytime hit while being parked, I'm getting tempted to sleep in my car, thank god no moron has hit anything metal, just 3 hits to different areas on the front bumper (apparently it is that hard to parallel park) and somehow another genius found a way to hit my lower rocker panel on my pass side, my car is lower than most, how the idiot hit that and didn't touch my door is beyond me.
I'm going to be painting the front bumper the summer, really irks me, if I didn't have the know how to fix this crap myself this would easily be $1500+ in damages that I could do jack about, and all have been different incidents so even full cover the deductible would screw me
I've always been unlucky and had cars that broke, finally get a car new enough and in great shape and no nothing is breaking, but sooner or later it's just going to be another dinged up pos on the road /sigh. Like I said just needed to vent.

That's what happens when you cross the wrong people... you're always having to look over your shoulder. You have a bad business deal or whatever, and then a year later they come back to get their revenge. (insert evil, dramatic music here.)
Anywho...
When my brother lived in the Chicago area, I asked him why he drove a beater-type car. He said because you can't have nice things there. Too many jackasses that hit you and leave.
Kinda surprised people do that so much considering hit-and-run is a felony. People suck.

Yeah, I live in apartments, 100's of cars a day in and out of here, then I work at a grocery store and go to college, all high traffic areas, no surprise hit and run, so many people a day no one would probably even report it if they seen it :/ I have only lived in this city for about 8 months and it's like 85,000 people, before that lived 10 miles outside of a 15,000 town, always hated big cities, this crap just reinforces that as I never had this issue out there since I had my own driveway.
I just dont understand how people hit a parked car so hard when parking.

I have a rule of thumb: I don't want to live anywhere that has sidewalks.

Damn dude, that sucks. Next time it gets hit, get in your car and just ram the shit out of the other vehicle. That way it'll be more worth it.
Either that or turn it into your insuance claim with a sky high claim from a 'friend' in the business who charges $200 an hour for preping, and $400 for actual work ;)

I only know one of the cars that hit me, because I remembered it was in front of me, and I went back the next day and it was there again, the others, not a clue, just random jackasses.
I could do the claim thing as my dad technically still owns his own autobody shop, but I would have to put on full coverage on it, then would have to pay a deductible when I could just fix it all my self for about $350 - $400, but still lame as thats quiet a bit of cash for assholes hitting my car and driving off, would have rather put that money into buying a IC kit to drop intake temps :/
1st hit wasn't too bad, just some scuffs, pissed me off as I just got the car.
2nd hit asshole hit me in the same spot as the 1st, but hit it hard enough to take all the paint off a massive section on my bumper, surprising he didn't fubar up the cover itself.
3rd was a tiny hit, but on the opposite side of the bumper, started getting old then, but at least all on front bumper
4th then thsis asshole has to hit the rocker panel, so now I have to do a lot more blending and painting as it has now spread to another part of the car.
Good thing the car is a dark green, even the missing pain isn't noticeable, a bit during the day, but not too bad. Oh well, just hope it doesn't get hit more.
