i started buying/selling stuff on the interwebz about 3 years ago.
in the beginning i had a few scares when shipping large $ shipments.
i shipped 2x 8800gtx's to france back in the day. i sold the pair for $1460 + $92 shipping.
8 days after i shipped them i got the dreaded paypal notice that the item had not been recieved
i kept my cool though and they arrived after 13 days.
Another thing that happened a few years back was when i shipped a e6700 to a guy in canada. he paid me $190 for it and it took 18 days to get it there WTF?!? i almost lost that one as well.
a few more things have almost gotten lost since then but nothing recently since i figured out a great way to make sure your packages arrive safely every time. :D
One day i was shipping a rather expensive motherboard to a guy here in the usa. i had some stamps that werent enough to cover postage for a letter since the rate went up a few weeks before. i said "ah, i'll just through one of these on each box till they are gone".
on the stamps where different Jesus pictures. i thought to myself, "heh, jesus will watch over my packages and make sure no one messes with them. anyone who does will be punished for his sins lol!" boy was i ever so right.
now im not that religious but i sure am glad jesus is there to safeguard my packages. i've even been told "amazing! you shipped it from kansas to florida and it only took 2 days!" and "wow! 3 days to so cal is pretty fast!"
take one look at my heatware for proof. its under fitseries3
all i know is...
Jesus stamps rock!
