I'm not sure about Huawei but I bought a local Taiwan brand smartphone once and it sucked more than all the pornstars in the history of the world (gay and straight).

Used them a bit back home, they are fine. Well, I am careful with my toys, so I am probably the wrong person to ask.

"Ideos" is the name of a series, its models start from super-cheap to mid-range. The Ideos X5 is the "OK" model among those.
Huawei is relatively new. Find out if they have a service center in your city to begin with.

Cisco should sue Apple for calling their mobile OS "iOS"

nope apple paid cisco a ton of money for it...
In June 2010, Apple rebranded iPhone OS as "iOS". The trademark "IOS" had been used by Cisco for over a decade for its operating system, IOS, used on its routers. To avoid any potential lawsuit, Apple licensed the "IOS" trademark from Cisco.[14]
but a funny thing here though:
http://paidcontent.org/article/419-deja-vu-apples-new-ios-brand-is-already-used-by-cisco/
so they stole two names from cisco LOL
