They felt the need to re-ban me on TPU for asking a computer question.
So I guess since I can never get an answer from the guys over there, I'll ask you nice GN people.
I'm upgrading my Acer Aspire One Netbook (Yes, I bought it over the ASUS :3) to 2gb
I'm just curious which would be faster:
2gb CAS3 at 533mhz or 2gb CAS4 at 667mhz?

Simple math. Divide the speed by the CAS number. The higher the number, the better. 533 CAS3 is technically faster.
But more importantly, can the chipset even set itself to 667Mhz ram speed?

nope its a 945GC chipset max is 533mhz

Crying here about being banned on TPU doesn't do you any good, just so you know.
As for RAM speed, I highly doubt you'll notice any difference.

I only wanted to explain why I was posting here...
And since we're on the topic of memory and there is another flash drive related thread and the likes, does anyone here know of a good utility for mounting a Windows ISO to USB?
