The best season of The Simpsons

I know most of you probably haven't seen every episode, etc. but what's your favorite season of The Simpsons?

Humm... I liked Season 3 a lot, incidently the only season I own on DVD. Other than that I don't know, its aired here in no particular order so I have almost no idea what episode is in which season. Thus I voted for season 3. The episode with the Baseball tournament is simply brilliant.

Could look through lists of titles for 22 seasons to try and figure out my favorite, but I'm just going to pick the season with my favorite episode: Marge vs the Monorail (S4E12).

A pretty good season all-around with Kamp Krusty, A Streetcar Named Marge, Whacking Day, Treehouse of Horror III, and other notables.

I have seen everything, but I wouldn't know what episode belongs to what season. I highly doubt anyone really remembers after 22 years.

Season 9 - The Cartridge Family. Really good season overall (many feel this was when they peaked).

Wow, I'd have to go through them all, there are so many that I like, Homer as Sanitation Commisioner, where he joins the Naval Reserve, the insanity peppers episode, getting a job at Cyprus Creek in the James Bond parody ep, the Sideshow Bob ep where he steals an atom bomb, various Halloween eps (no beer no tv make Homer something something :D ).... just too many goodies.

When it gets to around Season 15 I believe the quality really starts to go down though, the earlier ones are definately the best.

It's so hard to chose, I know a lot of people who use to watch them and don't anymore, mostly because they assume after this long they couldn't be going strong. But I returned to watching them after the movie came out, and I couldn't believe how great Season 21 was, they still have the magic, it's just amazing.

The movie was the best. Seasons I have no clue cause they are aired here without the mention of season number.
