read the warning down below

the video you'll see here is of a 4 year old boy playing with a dog which then turns (at about 1min 40secs) into him throwing the dog in the air, kicking it and then dropping on it's back from a height with his knees this was done from a friends house and the video is slightly blurred so no one can tell who he is or where he's at, and as the text says i fear for his and his brothers lives what kind of a moron gets a pitbull type dog for a 4 year old boy whilst also having a newborn baby in the house
do you think i'm over reacting or should something be done before the dog savages one of them
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBCKL3fYnbE

a word of warning has to be given (no one has told me to do this)but i felt it was necessary
do not i repeat do not look at any of the other links on the above page as they contain some seriously disturbing images of the things that chinese people do to dogs and cats, and it leaves nothing to the imagination ,reason i put this warning here is because of the barbarity of it which shocked me so much i felt sick for days from what i saw, so you have been warned

Talk to the kids parents? Towards the end it looks like abuse to me. Then again the child is probablly abused as well since there is obviously no parental guidance.

picking up a dog by it's collar is abusive. It needs to be addressed, probably by to the parents first.

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, contact the RSPCA if you have the slightest inkling that an animal is being abused.

At about 7:20, I'd say it got abusive.

Talk to the parents, point them to the clip (specifically that time). If they don't act, call authorities.

Is that a Jack Russell? Talk to the parents, asap.no it's a crossbread pit bull with something else, they are notorious for attacking kids ,well you saw the start of it here ,i seriously expect the dog to become violent within a year if the little boy continues,
by the way it's a puppy i think from a very rough neighbourhood

Watching a crime, being able to do something about it but instead just keep filming. The kid probably doesn't understand he might be hurting the dog, you (?) apparently are. Is there any specific reason you preferred to youtube it instead of helping the dog?

Is there any specific reason you preferred to youtube it instead of helping the dog?well if you'd seen his mother i think even you would be wary of saying anything ,she's a beast you wouldn't want to mess with:D besides i do hate seeing people hurting animals really gets under my skin so if i see enough votes i'll drop a line to the animal welfare
youtube was just a way of seeing what others thought

Seeing how you love to film your neighbors I'm guessing you have some fancy movie of her as well. Show us.

7:00 onwards it was getting over the top. Talk to the parents. Don't tell them you filmed it. If that doesn't work, link some animal rights agency to the video.

Backyards are meant for bbq, not hurting animals.

I am sorry but you cannot really say that a certain "type" of dog is notorious for attacking kids. Any dog is capable of showing aggression even the little fluffy ones. The particular "type" of dog you refer to unfortunately attracts a certain "type" of owner which is unfortunate for the breed. What the child is doing is completely wrong I agree but how is he to know that it is wrong if his parents are not around to disipline him? It is unfortunate for the dog that will eventually one day turn around and bite the child being a pitbull type or any other breed for that matter the outcome would still be the same. Some people just should not own dogs at all.IMHO The dogs that do attack usually are the ones that have not been raised/bred properly like that poor unfortunate little puppy :(.

Edit : When I say that particular breed attracts a certain type of owner I am not refering to the majority of pit owners only the minority, the ones that have given that breed and many others a reputation that is hard to shake off once it is there. The irrisponsible ones.

:) Yes I know I cant spell :p

well i know not all that breed shall we say are bad but they have got the mouth that can leave a big bite ,some dogs only have a small mouth which admitedly can still cause damage but just not as severly, pb's have a very powerfull bite due to the surface area and muscle structure ,and yes i know he's only a little boy who doesn't no better, but i still say he's playing with fire .anyway my friend is getting sick and tired of all the noise they make apparently he's really quiet and she makes all the noise while he's at work ,my friendis at snapping point

They all have pointy ends mate:) I am a breeder and one of the things I look into when I breed is temprament no matter how nice the dog looks if it has a bad temprament I will not use it in my breeding programm.

Edit: Lucky you dont live next to me coz all you would get is me walking around the back yard staarkers scratching my arse and drinking beer.

Didn't look bad until around 7:50 with the tilt-a-whirl throw, and then again around 8:30. I even had a cat that loved to roughhouse similar to that, he'd bite and claw too, and then I'd put my hand up to pet him and we'd instantly be best buds again, so I do think animals can know the difference when roughousing with someone they know. They play-fight with other pets they know, so same thing.

Some of those spinning throws were pretty rough, though, and the kid jumping down so hard and landing on the dog could snap the dog's leg or even neck if he landed wrong.

i would but it would cause more problems than it would solve besides i've heard on the grapevine (although i'll beleive it when i see it )someone plans on either letting it out or taking it away well i hope someone does something as i noticed the other day when i was there it had a crooked tail which may have been broken:eek:

Is it just me? Or does this kid look like he is performing a WWE Cage Match with that dog?

That's what I saw looking at this video! IDK if he knew what he was doing......!
