Pepsi is sweeter so I like it more. I'll drink either so long as it isn't diet.

+1 for coca cola in a glass bottle.

Add another for Coke (and glass bottle is always better for any drink).
Pepsi tastes too artificial to me, almost like it's made from plastic or something.

Agreed that glass bottles are a lot better! Cans and plastic are too, meh.

Glass > Aluminimum > Plastic
The only advantage of plastic is that it is resealable and often cheap.

It should be more like Mountain Dew vs Mello Yellow, I'm willing to bet that Mt Dew outsells Pepsi.

It does.
Edit: Rather, it did. As of 2009, it ranked 4th (http://www.beverage-digest.com/pdf/top-10_2009.pdf). I think it's popularity has fallen because of health concerns.

What really shocks me is how much Coke outsells Pepsi. I work at a grocery store and I never knew it did for sure, but I always assumed. Because Coke never goes on sale, and they always charge an arm and a leg for the things, like almost $8 a 24 pack, where as Pepsi products are on sale 24/7 for $5.95 a 24 pack and when they aren't they are 6.99. I buy whats cheaper (not the cheapo brands). I preffer Mt. Dew, but this week Mello Yellow was cheaper, so thats what I'm drinking.

Coke was around before Pepsi and have done a much better job at advertising. So well, in fact, that worldwide, the first well known word is "OK," the second is "Coke." You couldn't pay for brand recognition like that.
I've always taken Pepsi products over Coke, given the choice.

My area is one of the few markets where Pepsi is more popular than Coke. I'd rather drink RC than Pepsi tho. lol.

Pepsi is preferred over coke for me.
Also it gets mixed with spirits so anything really. Tesco 47p coke is fine.

I tried RC Cola after like a five+ year hiatus. It's taking me three days to finish one bottle. I'm not a fan. :(
Back to regular Pepsi after this...

frank my friend who own/runs an Italian pizza shop sells RC cola, and never gives a label as to what it is, so when people who say coke or Pepsi they get RC cola, and sometime people even say that that is the best tasting (coke or pepsi) they have had in a long time, LOL
of course i prefer Pepsi over coke, especially when it is served cold from a fridge, then it has a different taste. Coke has a tenancy to cause me to burp like hell.
A though when at a party i will drink both, what ever is on tap.

I got a funny story about how to heart people take this. A guy at work drinks Coke like crazy, thats I think all he drinks, he has coke tshirts, coke hats, you name it he has it. When coke goes on sale hell buy like 10 24 packs at a time. So one day I was in the managers office and I see a cell sitting there. I wondered who it was so I open it and see a background of a 24 pack of coke, sO i knew it was his.
So I grab it, go out of the office and snap a picture of the Pepsi machine and set it as his background. I started laughing instantly, as thats hilarious. The next day at work he figured it was me and he comes out to me and flat out threatens to start doing things to my car. It ended with me saying, you touch my car, I know where you live, it isn't going to go well for you. Haven't talked to him since then, kind of awkward as we work together and are both pretty high up.

Yeah, I couldn't believe how he reacted, I now call him the 45 year old baby. Wasn't his office though, he's not a manager, just been there a long time.

don't forget to swill your mouth out with water no less that half an hour after drinking any soft drink if you want to keep your teeth from rotting childrenhttp://www.phpbbserver.com/mameuifx/images/smiles/a_chuckle.gif:D

Dr. Pepper is so, so. I'll drink it occasionally but it seems to aggravate my stomach about as much as Mountain Dew.
