I can't decide what to get. For the Focus, I'd have to take out a $6000-7000 loan but for the used Milan/Fusion, I wouldn't.
In either case, I would trade a 1992 Cadillac STS (~$2000) in for it which does qualify for Cash for Clunkers ($4500) but only against a new vehicle.
Both have similar features such as heated leather seats, excellent gas mileage (24/34, 18/27), and under 30k miles (new would obviously be less). The focus has a 2.0L I4 while the Fusion/Milan have a 3.0L V6.
FYI: I only have GM, Chrysler, and Ford dealers close. I don't trust companies that have filed bankruptcy and the nearest import (Honda, Toyota, etc.) service center is 40+ miles away.
Will be keeping this new car for probably at least 10 years.
