Drinking one right now. It's the best beer I've tried so far...not that I've tried many, but it doesn't make me want to gag. DEFINITELY better than light beer. I'm still on the hunt for one I really, really enjoy though. What do you guys like to drink?

There are many of these alcohol related threads.
Also, Guinness is a stout, not a beer. For me, anything German and Belgian. I have found all other countries to produce nothing but mediocre alcoholic piss in comparison.

Baltika #9 has an alcohol content of 10% :)
Cisk Lager (http://www.cisklager.com/) is produced in Malta and exported all around the world. It's of a good quality, won some awards.
Alcohol content's only around 5% though (as is standard for lagers).
Try it if you find it in your country!

I shall have to see.
Guess my favourite is Erdinger, or Leffe. Judas, Hofbrau, La Guillotine just to name a few regulars.

I gave up the beer and if I do drink it's usually a good whiskey or an occasional glass of red wine. My three favorites that I miss:
Hacker-Pschorr Hefe Weisse
Guinness
Newcastle Pub Brown Ale

Stout is a type of ale, just like Pilsener is a type of lager. They both are beers.

It's a stout! Just like how the Americans all think that Jack Daniels is a whisky. Well it is in their country because the law is different.

Didn't I just tell you that? Stout is a type of ale, ale being a type of beer.
As for Jack, no clue, I'm not a whisky drinker. Though there are countless of whiskies as well, so I'm pretty sure it's a similar thing, it being some specific type.

Unfortunately not. By definition Jack Daniels is a Bourbon, but it does not follow the aged in a new barrel "rule". It was only officially recognized as a "proper" whiskey when the American Government changed the law (1940's i think) and accepted it as a new Tennessee Whiskey.
Or so every landlord in the pubs i visit tell me when i ask them.

Letting the law decide what's food and not. Really, politicians are in no position to tell us when something is whiskey or beer.

Whisky or whiskey refers to a broad category of alcoholic beverages that are distilled from fermented grain mash.
(yes that is copypasta from wikipedia)
Hence Jack is whisky. By several definitions I have heard, Jack is NOT a bourbon. But it doesn't matter either way, because bourbon is whisky anyway.

Jack is a Whiskey, and Guinness is a beer. Burbon (actually, Jack is a sour mash whiskey) is a type of whiskey, and Stout is a type of beer.
Calling Guinness a beer is like calling a hamster a rodent. It may not be the exact term, but it's still true.

Also, if we're going for canned beer, I'll take nothing but Pacifico.

I used to drink nothing but beer brewed at our local brew pub, but a nasty divorice shut it down. Now I have to resort to bottles, which is OK, but there is nothing like craft beer, whether in Europe or America.
My top three now are all IPA's (India Pale Ales) which are hoppy as shit and strong too: Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA (7.2%,) Deschutes Inversion IPA (6.8%,) and Bridgeport IPA (6.8%.)

Personally, I cant stand beer - I use to drink it while i was experimenting in my younger days (16+) but i really cant stand the taste of it anymore. even a sip will make me really really sick.
however - stuff like Whisky, Vodka, Port, cider & pretty much any Cognac I will accept. Beer just tastes so yuuuggggghhhh

3 shots of Jaeger still in the shot glasses.
3 tall glasses, and one can of red bull (250ml) divided into 3 glasses, drop the shot glass with Jaeger in DO NOT MIX IT!
Pick up glass, put to lips, tilt head and neck them. Good drinking.

So that was the true goal of the IRA? Red bull is for pussies, mixing beer is only allowed when you're wasted and have terrible beer (dead, mixed with 20 other brands (happens at festivals and the likes), Heineken, etc) and don't feel like throwing it away for whatever reason (lack of cash, bar closed, emotional bond with the beer).

Rum and coke is OK. I actually made a drink with scotch for my wife.
Scotch
Cream
Chocolate Syrup
Add equal parts cream and scotch, and add syrup to taste. Easy. She drank one or two of thse and I drank the bottle of scotch.

I'd say the volume I have vomited any night in my life is directly proportional to the amount of rum&coke I have consumed. It's no good for anything except getting hammered
