ok, i was chatting with an old girl that is a freind. i was very shy in HS and well in 10th grade she asked me out and i never gave her an answer. anyways, the other day we were chatting and the convo was slow, then i said i was sorry for acting the way i did back in hs. and she fired right back saying "u were fine in hs i was stupid back then and yes im still in ny", quite soon we started talking more and i mentioned how i like being up north.

She then said right back "thats cool we should hang out one day soon". I agreeded and the she said " let me know when u r passing through nyc or si just text me at xxx-xxx-xxxx :):), I gave her my number and then i told her i like going up there for the day and what not, and then she agreed.

I then said yea when ever your bored and have the day off let me know and if im free i'll head up to the city, ad then she turn around and said im free next Tuesday night.

We made plans to hang out, and well im not sure what she wants. Im quite bad at reading people, so im not sure if it sounds like a hang out, or a date.

what do yaw think?

She's probably "desperate", these days everybody is. In addition to that it helps to be "Miserable together".

She probably was thinking back and realized, "Wow, I never took advantage of this guy yet....Hhhmmm".

It's either that, or she might just like ya.

Go find out(let us know)....LOL

Quit thinking about it so much. Just go hang out, and go with the flow. Your head is just gonna get in the way.

Just ask her how things have been since you saw her last. Keep the conversation going and dont let the interest die and who knows you might just end up doing a barrel roll :)

In my experience with girls that try to get with a guy, or get back with a guy they'll try to figure out if you're single. Normally a question like "There must be some new exciting people you've met, right?" or something like that.
Just hang out with her though, have fun.

Didn't you say in a post a couple weeks ago that you have a girlfriend though?

yea i do, and she and i went casual, (because she is in college), this way she can go on dates with other guys, and she is fine with me hanging with her, but i never mentioned what has been flying through my head.

If she gets off at 6pm, and we figured meeting up around 8pm, what is there to do(were both 20),
ie i don't think we can hit the bar, but what would you guys think in the situation? And how should i keep a convo going without letting it die, and yet not come off as totally talkative or what not.

I put out the offer for her to send me a txt if she was ever bored, and she said the same back with a smiley. I don't remember her being easy or slutty but its been a few years so its hard to tell.

Outside of that i need to go work out every other day till Tuesday so i can get some shoulder and arm muscle back. oohrah

It's a strange thing called "social interaction", happens all the time. "Hey I haven't seen you in ages, let's have a drink". Usually there isn't much behind it.

That's what guys do. Women do this:

Or to rip his heart out, and crush it before his very eyes. Can't really do that on the phone.
