Gateway
I keep walking the same path everyday....
Falling into the same hole that I lost you....
I don’t know how to avoid it....
I don’t know if I wanna avoid it....
I keep hoping if I follow the path....
I’ll find you....

I keep following the path that took you ....
Took you to the life of pain....
It was just for thrills at first ....
Then it turned for the worst....
We were just stupid kids....
When I formed the gateway....
.. ..
You warned me at first....
I just ignored you....
You pleaded with me, eventually you gave up....
I told you it’s alright, I’m in control....
I convinced you to follow me through the gate....
Reluctantly you followed....
.. ..
We formed a path, we made a map....
We had our safety lines to pull us out....
Constructing more gateways....
Destructing our lives ....
Corrupting our minds ....
We continued down the path....
.. ..
You didn’t notice when my line got caught....
You left me alone, they pulled me out....
I took the blame....
I went back to pull you out....
I came to the gateway....
Followed your line to the end, trying to find you....
.. ..
I found some one tied to the end....
Carried them to the hospital....
They asked a lot of questions....
But I couldn’t answer them....
They told me it was you, it can’t be true....
They have to be lying....
Because I know its not you....
You’re not dead, you can’t be!....
You’re still in the gateway stuck in the hole ....
I’ll keep going down the path....
looking for you..

Turned it tight....
Crushed with all my might....
Saw the dust of the key....
In my hand so innocently....
Then the wind almost simultaneously....
Blew the dust so gracefully....
I finally feel safe and free....
