I'm back with a simple question.
Do throttle body spacers and air intakes improve fuel economy in daily driving situations? Do they have a noticable power increase? Or are they just there to sound cool? What other mods (I hear a larger exhaust, but it's an LN2...) are useful for improving fuel economy? I've done all the PMCS to make sure everything is running fine and properly in order to achieve maximum fuel economy from what I've got.

Now that I have a new DD ('08 Mustang GT 5 speed! Boy was I wrong when I ragged on them at TPU...) I'm going to see if I can't get the Cavalier into a fuel efficient beast for long trips!

It depends on the car as to what kind of economy and power gains one can expect. A full exhaust will help mileage on almost all cars, but sometimes just a catback won't help, as the restriction may be the factory manifolds or cat.

Same for the TB or CAI. If the factory pieces aren't restrictive, then there's little to be gained.

Most factory cars have a nasty bend in the downpipes up front, I'm not sure where your Mustang will find better flow, but I would check there first.

I was keeping my Mustang stock, but will probably do exhaust here soon to it.

Good, because it is a hell worthy trespass to own a Mustang, and keep it stock. lol.

A cold air kit, reflash, cat-back and headers are good for close to 50hp, AND better mileage.

Yeah, I love that tough V8 sound, which is why I bought it over the Passat, despite the Passat being much more practical for my situation.
