2 days ago someone smashed out my passener door window and stole my college backpack (probably hoping for a laptop). All they got was 2 books and 3 pens, they didn't take my stereo or $1100 worth of gauges?

So I put in a new window the next day and then I parked in my apartments guest parking spots at night so it wouldn't be on the street, then went out to move it at 6am before the staff showed up and seen me parked in a guest spot. And when I go out someone now keyed my damn driver side of my car. I was going to take a nap after I moved it, but I was very pissed when I seen that.

Anyways I got to school at 8am, get back at 12:30pm and have about an hour before me and my gf have to go look at our new place we are moving too. So we come out to leave at 1:30, I had the car parked way away from the apartments, by 0 other cars, and someone fucking keyed my trunk now. I am now back at school, but I just sat in my car from 2:30pm till 4:30pm (when I left for school) waiting for the asshole to show up again.

I am moving soon, but seriously this is ridiculous, I don't know anyone in my apartment building, so no one has it out for me. I am thinking it's the person who took my backpack and is angry nothing was in it. But they can't break in right now so they just scratch it. What would you guys do here, just bought this car for $5500 4 onths ago and it's been hit 5 times, broken into, and now keyed twice, just unbelievable. I bought it to get away from older breaking cars, now it appears I have bought reliability, but I'm going to have to spend as much fixing what other assholes do to my car, that or have a reliable fast car that looks like shit, unbelievable :mad:

Yeah, not many places I can see it, I live o nthe 11th floor, and I'm suppose to be moving into my new place this week so time is so tight, but I really want to catch this asshole. Just unreal how people have no respect for other peoples crap. I'm sure it's someone in the apartments and I would just like to beat their face in, but the logical move if I catch them is to confront them, tell them I'm going to the cops and to the landlord, and just completely screw them out of house and home.

Think I'm going to park it someplace tempting tonight, its probably gonna have to get another scratch for me to get the bastard though :(

I was laying with the seat down from 2:30 - 4:30 but I think too many people were out. I would like to remain close to the car if they run, I'm fast, but I don't want to give them a huge headstart because who knows if they are also.

Just sucks as I'm prob gonna have to go without sleep, and if they are happy with what they have done and don't come back, just will suck.

Expensive, I'm going out to grab my parents truck right now. I'm in a pretty bad neighborhood and my parents keep calling, my gf is crying, all thinking something bad will happen. Just aggravating to think that if I wasn't moving this person would be forcing me to watch my car night and day to stop them.

Gonna go to the landlord in the morning and say something, I'm sure they won't do anything, but oh well. Gotta repaint my front bumper and pass side under the door next tax season, now the scratch on driver side and on trunk just rounds it off, fucking whole new paint job I guess :rolleyes:

I would recommend a portable surveillance system. A few years ago these would have cost over $1k, but now many are under $100

If you have a direct line of sight to your car, you should be able to get a range of at least 100-150ft. Plus many have IR LED's so you can get a good shot even in complete darkness. You would probably need at least 2 to get full coverage, but you can get around that by parking next to an obstacle and force the little cunt cheese to the side you want.
