It's just a Vortec. Going to pick it up in a few weeks and pull the motor, and junk the rest. Also, are Summit aluminum intakes any good?

Well it's pretty much sold again. This engine has something rattling in the bottom end and I'm pretty tired of screwing around with it. I guess it was a good run while it lasted. :/

I dunno what I want next. It's gone though, I drove it about 45 miles with a loose rod or something (65-70 on the freeway), and made it to the guys house. He's glad to have it back but he told me he's thinking about selling it to a kid who needs a good frame and axles :/

I even promised myself I'm not going to get it back again

Fuck that Audi.. Got the K10 back about a month ago.

Been doing some work to it.. since I got it back I've painted it blue, and got the rear end fixed. Also did a few things to the interior. Had a seat from a '73 or '74 put in for a while but it was lacking the holes for the seatbelt so I had to put my torn up vinyl seat back in it.

Also put 305 heads on the 350, and a mild Crane cam in it.

This was after I sold it the 2nd time, April 1st 2012.

Got it back, and painted it blue. Rear end was still saggy. Since then my friends and I fixed that, but the front leaves will get some attention soon.

Old pack, already re-put back together after snapping 3...

Had to reuse that main leaf because the bolts are all seized up on the JY pack I got, and on the shackles on the frame

Needed some liquid courage.. lol

All done, running 5 leaves plus the overload

Finally sits better, rides a little stiffer but it doesn't look bad anymore. It's rolling on 265/75 16's now, one of my 33's blew out and I found these pretty cheap, couldn't pass them up for $130 for the set! 2 are brand new and the front 2 are about half tread or so

Been doing some interior work too, will get a few pics soon.

Were is the carbon fiber bodywork?
On the last picture it looks like the front left wheel is lacking a little air. Fixing that may improve mileage, tire lifetime and driving behaviour, I think.

I will never own a Dodge truck, you couldn't pay me enough money. I'll stick with Fords and Chevys.

Looks much better with the leafs fixed, and the blue looks pretty decent, just hopefully you sanded it down before spraying.

Been averaging 16 mpg in the old pig, not bad for a carb'd 350

Also added another leaf to each side in the rear, running 6 leafs and 1 overload on each side.. and holy hell does it ride stiff

Lets see here im not made of money and these were free so why not? they have good valve seals and my 350 had no valve seals, and plus the little bump in compression helped a bit on the low end. if you want me to have vortecs so bad buy me a set and i'll be more than happy to run them.

Don't get snippy with me little man...be glad when you swapped to 305 head's you didn't have the wrong pistols in your motor. Plenty of people have swapped and pushed the compression way to far for pump gas and those shitty flowing heads. How you can't find a $50 set of heads blows my mind there millions of them floating around junkyards...and yet you spend money on a cheesy spray paint job.

Whatever. I am just saying for the price you paid for that POS I bet I could have gotten you one that at the very least had a better pain job and body. That is unless you got it free.
