Weird thing on my skull

ok... u knew it was there from since a kid, i just thought it was normal.

so the back of my skull seems to have a lump like thing. not exactly a lump, as its more of a "cliff"

to describe the position...
lets say i am standing with my head straight. Now we draw a line parallel to the ground which starts at my ear canals and meets at the back of my head. its at that point.

So my spine is going up my neck into the head, instead of the skull having a nice smooth cover over the spine above the neck, it goes under that cliff and disappears. the bump can be felt well. there is kinda a socket where the tip of the index finger can sit perfectly.

pressing that region gives me a sense of relaxation, etc.

what is it

am i an alien or something?
