prolly would have been less if he didn't request meeting with roger goodell only to blow him off when goodell agreed.

which is consistent with the year long suspension of sean payton. It wouldn't have been a year long suspension if in 2010 sean payton hadn't lied to goodell about it.

pretty much goes to fuck with me and get a year ban, cooperate and just get a few games.

There shouldn't be any suspensions for this bull shit. Every single team targets a specific player and his goal is to knock that player out of the game. There is no difference between a ray lewis pep talk and a bounty on a player, end result is the same, go get that player and hit him as hard as you possibly can. You do an illegal hit, then it's a penalty and a fine.

um yes, yes there is. 1 the IRS doesn't give 2 shits about, the other they will fucking sue the shit out of the NFL if the NFL doesn't take steps to prevent it.

I don't see how a cash bonus from an employer is going to mean anything to the IRS, unless they can prove that the players didn't report the additional income.

Anyway paying players to purposely injure someone sounds more like a criminal offense than merely a game infraction to me. To this article specifically though, the man should certainly be told about his suspension and not have to hear about it on tv.

it's untaxed income being paid within the nfl. Think about it, they audit poor people for mishandling some paperwork, these are 10k$ a knockout hit with millions being transfered all over the league. Again seriously read up on it, the punishments aren't being handed over for the reasons you're thinking. Also you need to take a closer look at the saints sidelines during the years under question, you'll find several guys on goodells hate list.
