Syria: Israel ready to intervene if chemical weapons circulating

The Univers News – Israel is closely monitoring the situation in Syria and would be ready to intervene if the Syrian government handed missiles or chemical weapons to the Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah, on Friday said the Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak.

“I have instructed the army to increase its preparations intelligence and take action so that (…) (if necessary), we are able to consider conducting an operation,” Barak said in an interview at the Tenth Israeli TV.

“We follow (…) the possible transfer of sophisticated ammunition system, mainly anti-aircraft missiles or ballistic-surface missiles, but there may also be the possibility of a transfer of chemical weapons from Syria to Lebanon , “he added.

History lesson.. Saddam was still a US ally when he used WMD's and that was against the kurds.. not the Kuwaities....AND the US did nothing about it.. Hell They didn't even care.. probably because Saddam received the tech to make chemical weapons from the US,FR,GER.. AND Saddam would have had nuke tech if he would not of suspected that the Indian nuclear scientist

the US intervened officially because of the invasion of Kuwait.. Unofficially .. on behalf of the Israelis I would suspect..

To summarize.. the 1st gulf war had nothing to do with WMD's.. It was for oil and money.. now the powers that be claimed the 2nd GULF WAR was enacted because of WMD's but most know this was BS..

now I could be wrong.. it happen s from time to time.. don't believe this is one of those times

it's in the op, Israel will intervene if the rumors are true. Seriously lol.

They have more than enough to take care of the issue and they're right there.

Nope, not our problem. We're not even close to Syria. Perhaps your country should invade, you are geographically closer after all.
