Didn't the dead Ros have her tits out when Joffery was done with her? Can't recall but thought so.

But yes, Arya's archery practice was an amusing scene and her first opinion of Melisandre.

"I don't like her".

"Of course you don't, you're a girl".

Just finished watching the episode. It should have ended with little finger and his speech about climbing ladders, and it included the last scene of Jon snow in the montage. That would have been better.
Instead of rousing speech> finish> wow take a look at this scenery and how in love we are.

it should be

Rousing speech with montage of everyone leaving/climbing and then cut to credits.

True, love after all isn't real. Only the ladder is.

Bart the Bear.

And poor Gendry, he does not know yet how screwed he is.

Decent episode though not among the best. Ending the most amazing naturally, Jaime was a badass. I reeeeeeeeally wanted him to push Locke into that bear pit though. Still, he strolls out with Brienne, gives a passing "sorry about the sapphires" comment as he goes and then an instrumental of "Rains of Castamere" rises up. Cool shit.

Gendry-Mel and the Dany parts were excellent as well, Gendry reveal and dragons, who can't love this?

Got to say though that the Shae-Tyrion spat was pointless, we already know how she feels about this and she already had a hissy fit about Sansa earlier. Seemed just like filler.

Theon... book readers will know the end result here but right now for those who are merely show watchers... must seem awfully pointless. Where is it going? Even I who know find it really dragging. Especially here where it was simply an excuse to throw boobs in for no purpose. Not even "sexposition" just blatant porn. Waste of screen time that could have been spent actually advancing another character. Bah, one torture scene would have been enough for us to know his situation at beginning of season than cut back to update at the end of it, no need to linger...

Still, solid overall. Going to have to rewatch like usual.

Agreed on everything. Though I loved the episode.

The part with Theon was annoying for me too, hence the fact that I did not even mention him in my previous post.

I am halfway book 4 and even his relatives don't give much of a damn about him. I can't wait for the glorious return of Theon's sister into the show though. She will be awesome once she's back, and the only Greyjoy I care about.

Unless the produces of the show know something that we don't I can't really see a whole load of point to him anyway.

No doubt it is more about giving the actor playing Theon sufficient screen time or some such. Only a couple shots of him this season just wouldn't do.

I too anticipate a return of Asha... Yara... to the screen. The actress playing her isn't how I pictured the character while reading but she has won me over.

No Strong Belwas is annoying me. I know he's really not that important of a character or anything.

Also, I absolutely loved King Joffrey shrinking into the Iron Throne when Tywin climbed the stairs. He's right to fear his grandfather.

Tywin parts are probably my favorite new scenes in the show that diverge from the books. Love Charles Dance.
