How far out of touch with reality do you need to be to stay mentally healthy? - Page 2

With the exception of people who are delusional, reality varies with each persons perspective and perception. What an individual perceives as reality, is actually their own personal assessment of the accuracy of their perspective and perception.

I have found that as I have aged, that the satisfaction I get from my observations, perceptions etc has increased. I feel 'wiser'. Therefore my concept of being 'in touch with reality' has increased with age.

For people that feel they are 'loosing it', maybe they are making unrealistic observations or maybe they are judging themselves harshly, in the end it all belongs in their mind, not others.

A couple more variable's; Are/were any of us moving at any given time and how fast are/were we moving? Also, was gravitational pull same for all parties involved?
