Right, I'm just talking realistic odds, you aren't going to see a flood of people showing up with guns. Of course once the cops show up they have guns, but if they had to wait long enough for that to happen, odds are many more would be stabbed, and I doubt cops would be coming based on them hearing gun shots, most likely calsl from people, just like they showed up without a gun shot here.

And of course some people will carry without a permit, but how many thugs are out there? I think this figure is going to be a lot lower in any community that doesn't have gang problems.

The law also contains a provision making it a petty misdemeanor offense to carry a concealed gun into a private business if the business has posted a sign at each entrance indicating that guns are banned, and has "personally" demanded that the gun carrier comply with the gun ban.

I'm not sure if they have changed it at all yet, or what "personally" actually means, but other states might work exactly the same, it all just matters on the way the law was passed. If guns are banned on site, any person with the legal right to carry that has a brain wouldn't carry a gun then just leave it in their locked car as they went in, thats risking giving a thief a weapon, honestly just ends up being safer to leave it at home rather than in a locked car as you go into a business that bans weapons.

Just one person packing can play cat and mouse with the criminal long enough to delay the criminal from hurting anyone else until back up arrives. The mere threat of someone in the same room as the criminal with a gun diverts all their focus to that individual/gun. That allows other bystandards to move out albeit putting the armed citizen in an more danger than they would be otherwise.


I'm no lawyer of 2nd amendment rights so I can't comment on the constitutionality/rulings on a business violating 2nd amendment individual rights.

I think they can ask you to leave but they can't enforce their self-imposed gun ban.

And yeah I'm pretty sure you just have to leave, I don't think you can be charged with anything unless you refuse to leave.

PS: I don't like waiting 6-8 months for my RPAL to get processed & approved by the CFO & RCMP so i can actually purchase a firearm/handgun so; keep flooding your streets with pistols so they can eventually make their way across the border and into my streets

Plus the mandatory 12Hr PAL course combined with the mandatory 10Hr RPAL course is a fucking waste of time & money seeing as they cost ~$260 and a couple days...

Just show me where the bullets go so i can shoot something, OK?

Got to say that I really would like to know that those owning weapons know which end to point away from themselves. Just because you know what the hell you're doing doesn't mean everyone else does

I have no idea what I'm doing. THATs the scary part. I have not seen live combat, I have not served with law enforcement and received the countless hours of training. Even then, people still get it wrong sometimes...

I trust Joe Public to be packin' and I trust him to make a clean shot. On the first shot. Every shot.
