Huh? I was talking explicitly about media, nothing else.

What you talked about are campaign ads and the media will run the ads regardless of truthfulness or even bias. It pays their bills and they're not going to turn good money away. It is the campaigns that determines what ads run where depending on the demographics they are attempting to target.
