I have no idea. The Bubble Wands are some sort of lacey looking ribbon that is absorbent. The Wands are not expensive. I love making bubbles...just don;t have many excuses...but it was Memorial Day Weekend.

1st of all my webcam sucks... cheap ass camera that is laggy as shit.. so apologies.. was debating on doing this so be kind.. Ill have another solo uploaded in a day or so.. its not done yet

Me playing OPEN FIRE by troy Stetina from Heavy metal Lead Guitar vol. 1..solo #1 .......that dude rocks.. I saw several others had videos of the same thing, so I was curious and took a look.. was not impressed.. only ONE sounded "ok" IMO .. Not to say my playing is great which it isn't but I sounded way better than most of the ones I saw play.. Not only was my technique better.. this is evident.. My method of recording just sounded better even if the video quality blew hard

XFI sound card with I/O bay interface and Guitar RIG 4 was my modeller...I set the sound option of the webcam to "What I hear"... The patch I use in GR 4 is my favorite.. Has the right amount of distortion,sustain,and delay..My goto sound for most of the stuff i play.. im in love with that sound

Me improvising in the key of G minor.. Camera was acting up so its some SERIOUS lag.. Pitty as the solo actually sounded kick ass.. Just wish I could play this type of shit on a consistent basis.. I do have my moments though

well when I bought this camera I didn't anticipate much use from it.. When I have a descent job ill invest in one.. not one of my priorities at the moment..

Perhaps.. But im not just concerned with just good video.. Saw alot of that on YT but had shit for sound.. the way my setup is and will be.. the camera MUST run through my soundcard and I/O bay..my sound is far superior to alot of the shit I hear on other videos.Not saying my playing is.. just the sound in comparison with the videos i heard.... AND NO you cant run a line out from the soundcard to the camera... well you can.. but you might suffer serious latency issues,sound quality issues,maby some interference/hum.. Reason I use the I/O bay that connects directly to the soundcard but any USB interface will work or similar sound card /interface

Amp Modeller (i.e. Guitar Rig,Amplitube,PV's Reavaler) + descent interface = superior sound..Set the camera for "What I hear" and its pure win as far as the sound is concerned

Why not use the mic on the camcorder .. I hear you askin this.. A)mic needs to be close to the speaker and have to be meant for this purpose... a SH 57 is an industry standard B) cheap camcorder mics cant deal with the shear brute force of the sound.. and will probably sound muffled..C) IMO camcorder mics are designed for voice.. not musical sound reproduction

In saying all of this.. Im skeptical yea.. but would give one a try.. i could be wrong.. Just heard a MASS of videos.. great quality.. shit sound.... My friend NoAngel1987 recorded me playing back in march with her camcorder and it had pretty descent sound..but hers was a super nice one

To me the video is secondary to the sound..When I can afford it I would like to get a setup with the best of both worlds..

Not really getting what im saying I think...:
Never said it did BUT any phone like that would have similar sounds..They are not meant for musical reproduction.. only really voice even though people use them to record musical stuff,i guess....You would have to turn the amp up so the mic would pic everything up.. then you run into another problem.. distortion from the mic because of loudness and sound pressure.. NOW perhaps if you hook up the camcorder to the PC while its recording and it could record the sound directly from the post processed sound ..now that would be awesomeness..Best of both worlds.. Just say NO to ambient sounds.. seriously.. post processed sound that is internal to the OS is superior to any MIC on a webcam/camcorder/phone

I viewed many videos that other people had done of the same exact solo.. OPEN FIRE.. Youtube it and you will see.. My sound quality I get is far superior and most if not all used a camcorder with a camcorder mic.. But hey.. their video quality was great for the most part... lol Well.. My playing of the solo was better to that 95% of the ones I heard..The TONEZ does come from the fingers ppl... I listed to like ~10 and only 2 even looked like they knew what they were doing.. the rest had shitty timing if can even call it timing..or just couldn't play the solo with any passion.. or they were novices at playing....and why do people not practice a piece of music before they record it.. seriously.. those 2 solo's I played were damn near perfect..Yes i'm an asshole and a harsh critic.. BUT i'm just as harsh and honest about my own playing too ..before some says something about how I criticizing other players.. I know I suk but I do have moments were I dont.. And yea.. ive been playing a while too. I just dont practice much

IMO.. the OPEN FIRE solo is a 0.50 - 0.75 on the Brandenburg's complexity scale.. The AC/DC solo was maby a 1.75 - 2.0.. Honestly.. Not that hard to play..timing on the AC/DC one did give me fits though until I nailed it

There should be no surprise I have a musical complexity scale, a tapability scale, and awesomeness scale.. have one for songs and movies but it doesnt follow the above format in rating.. Kinda hard to explain that one LOL

opps so much for a short post.. back to the vids.. Ill upload another soon.. Still isnt perfect and the timing is yet again causing me pain.. EVERYTHING is perfect but 3 fast passages are messin me up.. can play them but the timing is a tad off..
