Found a website Liberty-Flights in the UK which offers for example 30ml e-juice cheaper than Totally Wicked. http://www.liberty-flights.co.uk/ they have a US site soon too but it is still under construction.

I've used several of the suppliers listed in this thread, but cignot definately had fastest turn around. Beyond that I'd like to invite you to all to Join us in promoting e-cigarette rights at www.proecig.org

I recommend Vapor4Life and the Vapor King Mini PCC kit. Neat little carrying case smaller than a pack of cigs (oops I mean analogs lol) and from what my trusted friend tells me great battery life.

I went for the Cartomizer set up because it's the way of the future. All attys burn up and start tasting bad sooner or later so why not accept they are a disposable element and put them in the cart.

Though not as sexy as some of the better marketted kits I think Vapor4Life have their hearts in this E-Cig movement and I can tell you the service is top notch.

I'm looking forward to getting the stink of analogs off my skin and not having to step outside in the freezing wind to get my fix.

Next up: PEG soluble THC extract

I just got these new high drain cells for my silver bullet.
http://www.lighthound.com/AW-IMR1865...ry_p_2797.html

VERY VERY NICE, and should run for DAYS

If you keep vapping CD you will end up with something like this.

You can get an adapter for those CD at Altsmoke.com the KR-808d is the vaporking. I have a bag full of vaporking atomizers(cartomizers), but I don't use them very often. Also you can get adapters for the 901(same fitting as the cartomizer) into other atomizers if you wanted to try them out.

To refill them just fill the rubber cap full of liquid, and insert the battery end of the cartomizer slowly into the rubber cap full of liquid. It's the easiest way of refilling them again.

Cartomizers are just different. You can more of an air hit with them than normal atomizers. A pack of pre-filled is about 10 dollars, and a new atomizer say the 510,901,801 are about 10 dollars. The atomizer will last 2 weeks to months of use. It's cheaper really in the end to just drip liquid inside the atomizer, and rock out on it.

They also now sell T-Tips that make dripping really easy too do.

Holy cow those puffin-tubes are HUGE.

Thanks D. I am just a newfag. The less equipment to haul around the better, which is why I went with the VK mini PCC for my first vape.

I actually plan to make my own "e-cig" from scratch and maybe even get one manufactured once I develop a working prototype that is marketable. Looks like a good way to make some money. The parts in an e-cig cost pennies to make...but sell for 100 times that.

yea that's what is good about the bigger ones. They run forever, and you will find out with your VK. It's a nice starters kit. You get used to them very fast, and they are very nice how they stand up on your desk. Also people don't notice the bigger ones like they do the smaller ones for some off odd reason.

http://www.lighthound.com/

Good place to find GOOD 3.7v batteries. Which is a stock E-Cig voltage. BUT with mods there is less of a voltage drop which makes them better.

Here is a fun one to make if you have time.
http://vapersforum.com/showthread.ph...light=fistpack

There is a link in the thread about a million click switch. Which does make a difference without them burning up.

www.madvapes.com carries all the threads for them.

NP it is fun modding this stuff, and there is a TON of information if you look around. Just remember to always use protected batteries, and or a safe chemistry batteries such as lifep04/LiMN. If something goes wrong it can be very bad.

Most not if not all most there are vent holes in them somewhere just in case something happens. The Silver Bullet above the button is held on by hot glue(60watt one), and if the battery fails it will push the button out releasing the gas.

That normally only happens tho with 2 unprotected 3v batteries stacked for high voltage. Lot of people say that 5v(10watts) is the sweet spot for most atomizers. A passthough running on a 5v 2amp power source is a great way to try it. Or trying soldering a cartomizer to a USB power source will also give you a taste of it.

I need to source some small ceramic pots. Still trying to source the steel foam used in the wick over the coil. I found the Nichrome wire and the threading and tube sizes for common vapes. The ceramic bit is a determining factor in how it goes together.

I was on the fence about auto or manual and originally ordered manual, but I want to introduce other analoggers to vape and figured auto would be the best intro.

Seems like all the mods are about voltage but I want to start from scratch and build my one atty and cart system. Seems to me that there is room for improvement there, and if I can patent and produce a better atty there seems to be a market for that.

I'd say the main failure is the atty bridging over with crud. The tiny bundle of fiberglass probably lasts forever, and a heavier gauge wire would last a long time.

Need to find something to use for the ceramic pot. Not sure where to start looking.

Yea I have not been able to find what they use around the pot either. I think it's a wet spin fiberglass fabric.

Carlos is the only person really making his own atomizers for the mod called the Juice Box. You could find it on your tube easily.

It's a lower ohm atomizer so it takes less voltage to kick up the heat. It's just hard to beat the Chinese at something that cost 5-10 dollars a pop lol.

Some autos are ok, but they can be set off by wind, loud music, and being tapped on. What's good about a manual is that you can let it heat up a little before you go to take a drag. I let smokers try my SB all the time, and they don't have a problem getting it too work right.

Another mod you might want too look at is the GGTS with AFS. Those are sold at www.vaporkings.com besides the juice box it's the only mod really to auto feed liquid while you vape.

Interesting read, but all these measurements, and terms like "dripping", I'm not a smoker, haven't ever tried one. But both of my parents do smoke, and I been trying for years to get them to stop, and it hasn't worked. And I been thinking of just biting the bullet and getting them these as I hear you still get the nicotine, but don't get the cancer byproduct. But I also have heard these aren't really a good substitute, I could see people in the tech crowd liking them, but my parents are in their mid 40's, could care less about tech, and I don't want to see them quit because it isn't a good substitute.

So looking for some advice, on what to get, and anything else to help them quit smoking and move to this, any help is greatly appreciated!

dunno.. there was a post from a vendor there this morning.. here is a link to the product he was advertising. XPower650, That place is based in China.. there's no problem with the company as far as I know, other than selling cheap for the same price as the proper versions.

I guess this club is dead lol? I'm sad to see people all around me in Houston still smoking cigarettes. My wife and I, my sister in law, father, etc, are all smoking e-cigs now. I have most of them on the new V2's as they come with great quality cartomizers, produce tons of vapor, etc. I have a couple mods myself, and I love it. I have never felt better.

I don't think a lot of people here smoke. I know some do but the last time I heard any stats was at least a few years ago and at that point I think the percentage of smokers was under 25% and maybe closer to 20%.

I use a different nico substitute but it requires a prescription and I'm hooked on that harder than junk. I did try the e-cigs a couple of years ago and it was ok. I think a lot of people make the same mistake I did and go with the ones that have the same general "form factor" of a cigarette and then they find out that it's no fun trying to refill it every half hour or whatever.

There was one guy on one of the e-cig forums who had designed his own unit and was selling it., IIRC it looked something like a tiny baseball bat. Tons of battery life, good reserve capacity, good draw. Pretty much perfect.

I think the biggest problem some people have is that you don't get the same rush that you do from a regular cigarette. Maybe if you'r used to the lo-nico versions - IDK. The only thing you can do is try to get them to be patient for a few days until they adjust. but that can be damned difficult sometimes.

Good to see you over here LJ.

I have Kanger 510 Cartos and I try to mix my own juice. I wanna try 100% glycerine, but idk why I get burnt tastes after 5-6 minutes of chain vape

Idk how to use atomizers, and I've tried quite a few times LOL

I'm not sure if I should be trying the Kanger cartos still or just give up on them and try others... I know Boges or wtv were popular whenI started vaping

Also, NECRO

Anyone still doing this? Yesterday I bought my first kit. Been thinking about trying this for about a year or so. I kept talking myself out of it but yesterday I made up my mind to try it.

I have to admit its awesome. I'm vaping 12mg juice and it seems about right for me considering I don't smoke.

Why start doing this if you don't smoke? Well I smoked for 10 years. I quit when I was 25 and not because I didn't like smoking (I loved it) but I quit because I didn't want to end oup on a O2 tank.

So I have been absolutely clean of smoking for 15 years. But ever since I first read about e-cigs I have been tempted. (I've not been tempted to ever start back up on regular smoking.)

There were so many options but in the end I settled for the eGo-C Twist and Tabac BCC.

I'm pretty impressed. I'm also quite shocked that vaping fruity juice is very good. I have some fruity shit and some tabac flavor. Both are quite good!

I've been vaping eGo-W for about a year now.
Much cheaper than smoking. And much cleaner too. And tastier.
