I take thousands of pictures a year so even though I don't have a great camera sometimes I do get a great picture out of the deal.

Was air rifle shooting today and shot the queen's face for 30 metres away. That's the only one that stuck to the coin

Here's some of my shots, all taken on my phone except the first image which was taken on a Fujifilm Finepix A330, not that great, I thought I had some better ones.

I wish I had the original to this one, took it in January 2007, sky was amazing that night.

Hey ppl I got on here ! anyway I have been shooting with my trusty D100 for years And this year I got a D80 which is decent and does all I requier and than some plus all my old nikon lens still fit, it's not near as heavy duty or heavy but I am a wedding/portrait photographer so dont need anything more.
I shoot mainly in auto focus with manule speed/apture useing a sunpac 622 pro flash. Both bodys have the battery packs and 2 batterys back in flim days we worried about going over 120 pictures now with an 8 gig card in jpeg mode 300 you still have 999 left to go sdhc the D100 is cf only so only 500 or so. Still have some nice old 35mm and medium format stuff and still use it.

Anyone have a opinion of this camera http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16830120355 and a few other lenses and filters?

Anything better for around the $1500 mark for a full setup, tele-pana, filters, high MP....

I don't care for the video part so muc, it is nice to have, but I also own a HG20 high def camcorder, and the lenses from this woudl fit as a added bonus.

Bought the Rebel T1i just now, had it for $50 off, and got a 16Gb SDHD card, the extra handle, and extra battery.

I have the Canon Rebel 300D. I jumped on the digital bandwagon early, so it is one of the first generations of the digital Rebel (remember the stupid Aggisi adds), I think is only 6.8 Mp, but that has never bothered me, the standard image size is 17" x 11.3". I have 3 lenses and a Sigma 10mm x 20mm wide angle is next on my list.

Took this one a month ago, it is a little out of focus, but no tripod w/ my 300mm in low light, so it's not to bad.

Damn mosquitoes!

I ordered a Sony T900 compact. Should come on Monday. It looks like a very cool camera. The lens arrangement is unique and avoids any problems with pop out lenses. I'm looking forward to testing it out.

My wife took this one with our Canon while on a short hike.

Yah, she's pretty cool.

MM, that photoshopped pic is outstanding. Maybe you could do something like that with a pic of my son? Unless it took hours and hours, was wondering if it was some simple filtering. Hard to tell with such a small shot. I have Photoshop CS, but use it mostly to adjust levels and reduce JPEG weight for posting on the web.

Got my canon software installed. can do pics now.

A pic at 11PM by moonlight, exif should still be intact.

Lost alot of image detail doing the conversion on this, but made up a bit on sharpening the image with the software.

Me, and two of four fish. The other fish didn't get pictured, but did get frozen. Two rainbows while troling, 19" or so, and two mackinaw (lake trout) 23/25" and lost one as the other guy couldn't get the net to me. And then I fell in the lake as I was trying to help him get his little 38" 25Lb mackinaw out, was a whopping 18 deg F outside too, so I had to quit as I coudn't feel my legs anymore from the cold/wet.

The mountains from part way to camp from the lake.

More to come.

For my resizing, I actually get the best results with Paint.NET. It's super-sampling resizer does a spectacular job.

38" mackinaw, and my two fishes of the evening. I was jigging a lure on the bottom by moonlight and watching the reflections, he was using a predator looking lure and ploping it down in the rocks and popping it up.

View from close to the inlet.

Had to really shrink this one. A view from camp on a frosty morning.

Yeah. The software provided does a really good job of resizing with the image quality intact, and I can edit it easily. But I will try paint.net and see what it looks like from both.

I wanted to shoot some RAW images but forgot. , I will try some and import them. jpg just didn't do justification to the true depth of some of the pics.

next up i want a couple better lenses, first the telephoto.

Yeah. I shoot in raw. Certainly does make a difference. Before I grab a good telephoto, I think I'm gonna grab a good macro lens first, tho.

I don't have my camera in this country, left it in my apartment in Spain when I last went there. The full kit I (don't) have (at the moment) is:

- Nikon D80
- Nikkor AF-S 16-85mm f/3-5-5.6G ED VR DX
- Nikkor AF-S 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED VR
- Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC HSM
- Kenko DG Nikon AF Extension Tubes Set (36mm, 20mm, 12mm)
- Nikon SB-60 Flashgun
- 30cm flexible flashgun hotshoe extender
- Manfrotto 785B, Velbon CX540 Tripods
- Bunch of other stuff like filters, infrared remote...

Needless to say I'm missing these quite a lot. Used to work in a camera shop so got all these at almost trade value.

All I have at the moment is a crappy 3.2MP camera phone wihtout flash. And all my best pics are on the laptop I also left in Spain. I never thought I was gonna stay in UK this long so it's a right old PITA now.

I'm proud of this one because I took it at 2:00 am, while very drunk, and without a tripod.

Very nice shot. What did you use to steady the camera?
