The Girls Of Metal

I know a few:

Angela Gossow (Arch Enemy: Death Metal)
Christina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil: Metal)
Alicia White-Gluz (The Agonist: Metalcore)

These genres might not be entirely accurate, though.

Hole is definitely NOT metal. Your better off saying Kitty is a metal band....but not really

The chick from Otep is more metal!

ahh ... OTEP. Warhead is my most favorite song from them. Shamaya isnt bad, but she is a little ... weird. I will stick with Alicia White-Gluz. Another thing ... Scabbia is awesome.

And Angela rips on this cover;

A cover of one of my favorite band, by one of my favorite band. What more can I ask?

This is not Arch Enemy. It's Kalisia, with Angela doing guest vocals.

The original song is "How Could I" by Cynic.

In This Moment, Maria Brink really owns. I wanna say Lzzy of Halestorm. It's called metal but it sounds more like hardcore rock.

People who discuss whether or not something fits a genre are not metal themselves.

goth metal=hard rock.. LOL

strange.. when I was growing up... Metal was metal.. now ppl want too sub genre shit to death

you had METAL with its sub genre's:
Thrash/Speed metal
Black /Death metal

Thats it and everything fit into those 3 categories ..and IMO.. Metal was better.. now adays.. most of it is just

not all of your CORES either back then.. like MetalCore,MathCore, etc or any of the other types of sub genre's that escape me atm

Ohh.. and chicks dont know nothing about being metal..... hhehheeheheheheh

Den Adel. BTW, it is not her real surname anymore now she's married to one of the other members of the band. Though "den Adel" (or "Den Adel" if her first name is not used in the same sentence) is still being used in most cases afaik.
