Microsoft Access 2007 Rant

Have any of you tried to use it?

My mom's using it right now, and I've been trying to help her, but the shear load of BS coming out of it is overwhelming!

First, we tried to rename the table. Guess what it told us? It couldn't.

Then we tried to figure out how to change the field names, and it took us like 15 minutes.

Now we're trying to save it and it keeps telling us that it can't because somebody else has it open, which is a fatty load of BS too.

Now we can't save, can't close it, and can't rename the table.

If only there's a way to demonstrate how truly pissed off I am over the internet. Oh, there it is:

Microsoft better start

real soon, or I'm gonna

and light a bag of fiery duck

on their living room carpet.

MS Access works fine, you're just using it wrong.

read a for dummies tutorial on access 2007, people who just go from 2003 without training tend to be lost

I took a class for to the better understand the changes.

It works great, and has alot of new tools and visuals you can generate, and the ease of integration in other products is awesome.

I loves me some MS access 2007 and 2010. Although the transition to 2010 fucked up one of my queries.
