My point is that I'm suspicious of anything that turns dating into a game of strategy and psychological manipulation since that is never going to be the basis of a healthy, desirable relationship.

I was never good at dating and this whole "who calls first" shit, fortunately I am not too introverted and self-conscious. I'm in a relationship for 2 years now and it's great. My advice is to leave behind all those advices and be open for something new :-)

my GF is gorgeous plays left for dead halo reach drives a 5spd and likes that i do weird shit. I also have a job and a car as yogurt said. but the other stuff helps.

I disagree, my lady likes my natural smell. Also, there is this video of me picking my nose and she finds it charming. Then again I was completely wasted when that was filmed. Common sense is also overrated, being completely random works just as well.

A lot do. You just have to stand tall and not feel like you have to slouch to seem shorter. It's really more a matter of confidence.

Women know that tall men tend to get more respect, better promotions and such. Seriously. I read this a long time ago. Men who are above average height tend to get promoted more quickly than short or average guys.

Look at it as a desirable trait rather than a curse and you'll be fine.
