What kind of music do you enjoy?

I think we can share the kind of music we like to others, and perhaps comment a bit about what kind of music you like and what kind of music you avoid.

Likes:
Orchestral works, for example Danzon No 2 by Marquez. This one picks up a bit after the 2 min mark.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vwZAkfLKK8

Some otaku music, because its quite a large field of music and anyone can find something they like there. Examples: Connect by ClariS (Madoka Magica) and Fairytale by Kalafina (Kara no Kyoukai)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHiEcA-JHds
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrxEbplRXSM

OST music, especially RPG games with magic and stuff like that:
WoW Invincible:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4AoXMh0Di4
Gundam Unicorn OST 2: Unicorn:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v25MaXwopNI

Some piano works, I am a pianist and I enjoy watching people's finger dancing around the keyboard. Example:
La Campanella (sounds easy, but you literally need 3 hands to play that, and I cannot even manage )
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEnfZjqMSy0
Flight of the Bumblebee, 8 pianos:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXHd-ZLN_ew

Dislikes:
Music with too much "background music", for example vocals covered by drums etc.
Music with singers shouting, if they want to shout, they might as well be a commentator.

Mostly older style rock.

Creedence Clearwater Revival
AC/DC
ZZ Top
Guns N roses
Led Zeppelin
Black Sabbath

I also like the mid 80's, early 90's country and the old Honky Tonk country.

Gothic, darkwave, death metal - anything gloomy and depressing. Although I like a lot of indie type rock and some of the classics.

Baroque for reading and studying, especially Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, etc - especially works for chamber orchestra and works for pipe organ.

Basically techno, with heavy bass, and with melody. And classical as long as it's "angry" or "sad" music.

But it depends on my mood really. I love all kinds of music, from classical to heavy metal, techno, rap and whatever's in between.

I just can't stand jazz though. Ugh!! Jazz just makes my brain spin - for me it sounds like a toddler playing an instrument at random.

Electronic, Happy Hardcore, Hardstyle, Hardcore, House, Metal, Rap, Rock and Trance.

I don't care what it is, if I like the sound of it, I'll listen to it. That's why I frequent a rock bar, rock/metal is my 3rd favorite kind of music but I don't listen to much or know much, but I like most of what I hear so it's all good.

Classic rock (including southern rock and blues) is and always will be #1

Led Zeppelin is my favorite
Pink Floyd
Queen
Van Halen
AC/DC (with Bon Scott)
BB King
Allman Brothers Band
All of the good stuff

Next is heavy metal

Megadeth
Pantera
Metallica (first two albums ONLY, mainly because Dave Mustaine basically wrote all those songs)
Yngwie Malmsteen
Steve Vai
Buckethead (who could fit into many categories)

Rap (only good rap, not that shit you hear on the radio)

Tupac
Notorious BIG
Currensy
Big Krit
NWA (Also any members when they went solo - Eazy-E, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre)
Public Enemy
Mac Miller

From time to time, I can enjoy some country, techno, dubstep, jazz, and even classical. I've actually been to quite a few local jazz festivals.

Anything that's well composed. From Iowa (slipknot) to Sogno ad Occhi Aperti (Giovanni Sollima).

I have a supreme dislike for anything badly composed.

PS. Shouting can be good depending on the song. Case in point:

I'm not a *huge* fan of Death Metal or hardcore rap either.

Other than that. Just about anything, from Muse to Killswitch to Maiden to Kanye to Mussorgsky (We played a couple of movements from Pictures at an Exhibition in high school, so it has a special place in my heart)

Depends on my mood really...listening to Tool right now.
