I'm 19 and I've been with the same woman for 8 years now. I've lived with her, and I've been with her through middle school, high school, University, and now... Hairstyling school: the hub of all things dramatic on the face of the planet.

Picture this. 49 teenage/early 20 year old women in the same small building with two class rooms. Most of them pregnant, or on the rag 25 hours a day 8 days a week.

Every day she has a dramatic story about how so and so said something behind so and so's back, or how so and so is angry and how she feels about it.

I honestly don't care, at all. I hate all of her class mates and so does she, they're all idiots. She doesn't fit in with the personality type that is stereotypical with the profession. That's why I'm with her, she's awesome. I guess that's also probably why she has so many dramatic stories. They rarely involve her, but she still needs to fulfill her womanly needs and rant.

In any case, I basically just nod and respond with "I see what you mean" or "Yeah, that's not right." or sometimes I mix it up with "Wow, that really sucks." Half the time I don't even listen, she just needs to rant, but sometimes I do help if it has anything to do with her unhappiness.

Basically, you can't shut a woman up. My woman loves video games, 4chan and food, so it's not hard to keep her distracted, which I never need to do anyway because she's fun to be around.

I'm blessed with good taste in women, or I'm just really, really, REALLY lucky.

My Wife can go on and on as well. It was much worse earlier in our relationship but these days it's not so bad. She starts talking and I slip away in my mind...thinking of all sorts of shit and every once in awhile I make a noise like I'm listening.

I can't imagine being with just one girl period. In my youth I dated a lot of girls and managed to take to bed 16 of them before finding my Wife. Ahhhh the good old days.
