(25 miles) / (1 hour) = (25 x 5,280 ft) / (3,600 sec) = (132,000) / (3,600) = 36 and 2/3 ft/sec

Can you stop in under 10 feet, or less from a child running in front of you hidden from you cause they are shorter than some cars/trucks?

I'd already be slowing down before they got in front of the vehicle.

First, he was doing under that. He was just stating what the laws were. (They are the same in PA, btw.)

Second, teach your children better (not you specifically, I mean people in general). If I'm doing the speed limit, and a kid jumps out in front of me, it's not my fault. I'd still feel bad, but it's not my fault. It's our responsibility as parents to teach our children to be especially careful when playing on the roads. A driver following the laws cannot be faulted.

That said, I generally do 15-20 in neighborhoods, despite the limit being 25.

I feel that. Some kids are fucking stupid as hell and are entirely oblivious to what is going on around them. There is one part of my mom's neighborhood that I always drive a lot slower in because retard kids like to run around there without consideration for anything else. Their parents need to make sure they don't have Down syndrome before they go play outside.

Yes. This isn't a playground.... the nearest obstacle is 15 feet away on either side of my car... do we need to talk about you and your exploits in the MK VIII? Mr. Judgmental.
