I thought that the Green Hornet was going to be a normal, comic book based, action hero movie. I almost stopped watching it half way through because Seth Rogen's character was really getting on my nerves. Yes I know it was deliberately over the top, but even so . . .

I'm glad I kept with it though. The second half is more the kind of movie I was expecting and had some really fantastic scenes. I really wish we had spoiler tags here.

Just watched American Psycho. Christian Bale plays a murdering loser well. Hedonism at its best.

The Human Centipede. I want to say its a decent movie; the actor playing the villain is just plain magnificent. But all in all... its rather meh.

Deathly Hallows part 1. I just can't remember the story line from the last movie. I followed the major developments, but missed some stuff. I like the visual effects and the movie's concept of the ministry of magic and other interiors. An OK movie. Probably would have been better to see it in the theater.

It wasn't a movie per-say but I just finished watching the last season (or series) and a half of Doctor Who. Matt Smith is no Tennant but I think he's a damn good Doctor. I also want to have babies with the Scottish girl. RAWR!!!

I lost BBC America with the switch back to cable so I have to find the most recent episodes elsewhere (which is just down the street from 'hey sugar, yu need a date?)

Yeah, it's mostly just a WTF movie.

Just saw X-Men first class...

kinda shit.

I don't know if it was because I was expecting too much, I don't like young actor/esses, but i just found the whole thing rather meh. Not really enjoyable, passable for a rental, but not a sit in the cinema with your popcorn film at all.

Same. Still probably won't even come close to topping Cannibal Holocaust for absolute most disturbing film I've ever watched though. That movie just makes me feel like less of a person for watching it, but it's still something that everybody needs to see at least once.

120 days of Sodom was the worst one for me.

Last film I watched was one of my favourites, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?

Tomorrow mummy and I are going to see Super 8, VERY excited for that!

Cannibal Holocaust? Never seen. Adding to list.

Now, 120 days of Sodom was just weird. I never finished it in one sitting, I got bored rather quickly.

What you do have to watch in order to feel guilty for watching it is Nekromantik, a German film about a necrophilic couple stealing a corpse and having fun with it. The term "Got wood" gets a whole new meaning in this flick. And guess why its banned mostly everywhere? Because it has a scene where a butcher kills a bunny.

I've seen this film, I didn't find it that sick tbh. Probably because for me, the psychological films are the ones that distress me not the shock or gore.

I have yet to watch a psychological horror flick that even keeps me interested. [REC] did a pretty good job, and the 1937 movie "Freaks" makes you feel uneasy, too. But terrifying psycho horror, I have yet to experience. I think thats where the gaming media can do way better.

Well, in 15 minutes I'm giving this Cannibal Holocaust a try.

Things based on real life afflictions (such as accurate portryals of killers and the victims, addictions etc) if done well can really haunt me.

I was bored by CH tbh. But it's definitely one of those 'you have to watch at least once' films.

I thought I was the only one!! One of those things I kept to myself out of fear of being institutionalized. >.>

I'll add Begotten to my queue.

So I finished watching Cannibal Holocaust now. I kinda like that sort of movie. Altho the multiple rape scenes... what is it with early Italian horror flicks and frequent nudity/rape.

But aside that I quite liked that movie. Its "simple".

Yeah, it's the fucked up rape scenes that make it disturbing imo. Raped with a rock? Seriously, wtf?

Begotten is free to watch on the internet, even on youtube I think.

Good luck finding the other ones. 120 days of Sodom is banned in many countries, Guinea Pig series is banned in many countries and Nekromantik...well you know.

SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT
SPOILER ALERT

Actually that scene wasn't all that disturbing. You know... since its a ritual and its explained. Either rapekill that girl or get killed yourself. The last rape scene tho got to me. Stripped, raped, and then beheaded. I mean wow. And I liked that girl, she was kinda hot. ...there's no way I can't say that in a non-disturbing way innit.

You know, reading the wiki page, the whole movie was shot under bad premises. Most of the actors didn't want to do the stuff they had to. Makes the movie all the more creepy. Especially since the "burning hut" scene wasn't staged.

Yeah, I mainly mentioned it because it's just a wtf thing when you first see it.

I did not know either of those facts, but it's not surprising at all. I sure as hell wouldn't want to do any of that shit either lol
