So how long do the playoffs go on for these days. Will I be flipping between the MLB and football on Thanksgiving (you know, if I actually watched sports).

The Divisional Series is best of 5 games (8 teams)
AL/NL Championship Series is best of 7 (4 teams)
World Series is best of 7 (2 teams)

Thanks for the break down dude. That's great. I knew about the series but not the other stuff.

Now, so I can pass for a foreigner who knows a tiny bit about baseball, which of the 2 leagues is the one that sucks? I can never remember. I think it's the AL? Isn't it the league the Braves play in?

Lol, they're pretty even, though one could make the argument that the AL always has the edge due to the designated hitter. The Braves are in the NL.
