At first I was getting nothing but advertisements to do with DNA, then I googled, cellular automata, wolfram and fractal which turned the ads into business ones (forex and shiz). Whoever programmed the ad-sense thing should change his day job.

No Hello Kitty collection, but if I had a good enough cam, they might have been able to see the Jacqueline Carey books on my shelf, which can be considered romance novels (although I think they're more fantasy adventure).

Testing some other ad provider. On my personal server it doesn't seem to do naughty things. If it does tell me and it's gone. If people care I'll report the scientific results in a week or so.

Probably a lot. When I log in from Belgium and do a google search, it's always in French. It's a pain in the ass.

I blocked some keywords and disabled mobile ads. I assume the latter caused things on your phone, even though I could not reproduce it on my own phone.
