This. It's more likely that what Clinton said is with the understanding that he will avoid "underestimating" Romney to prevent the Republicans to say "The Democrats are underestimating us! That will spell their doom! Belittling us will do more harm than good for them! This is a sign of our God-given victory! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!"

I watched that interview until I fell asleep (about 30 minutes). You are correct. He did more Romney bashing than Romney praising.

Basically, Clinton agrees with Cory T. Booker that the Obama campaign shouldn't be attacking businesses and private equity (Bain Capital).
