I'm looking into air purifiers... I need one that cuts down bacteria as well as dust and allergens.

My other problem is I can't just pick one up and call it done. I don't have a lot of money to just throw down on something all at once. I do have a decent amount of credit with Fingerhut so if it can be found there that's an option... but I'd like to try to avoid FH if at all possible due to price gouging. Maybe if there is a store that offers a credit line, but my credit isn't in the best shape... I'm just starting out and don't have a very long history. To put it in perspective to anyone who might be able to speculate on what my chances are at getting credit at x store:

    -$1200 credit limit at Fingerhut
-Applied for and denied for the Sheetz credit card
-Applied for Capitol One secured mastercard, and out of three possibilities ($49, $99, or the full $200) for the minimum security deposit, they wanted only the $49 from me, based on my credit.

I'm looking for help not only on what to get but where it's possible for me to get it... I don't mind at all opening another credit account, with home depot for example, if at all possible... that's more credit on my history that'll help me and the people I care about more in the future!

Unfortunately if you have been denied credit in the last 6 months and you try again not only will you likely get declined again but may also be making your credit worse.

More than 2 inquiries in 6 months is frowned upon by creditors unless you already have good credit and are trying to make a responsible purchase...house, car...etc..

But if you feel the need...
try Walmart, KMart/Sears, Target and the likes...
avoid Home Depot, Best Buy, Lowes, HH Gregg and the likes..

    I don't know anyone who's been turned down at Macy's or Target...LOL
as long as you have 6 months of some type of reportable payments already.

Be very diligent with Capital One....As long as you stay on proper terms they are fantastic....but if something happens and they have a kill shot they will take it...even on a secured card...

After an amount of time C1 will offer you a high interest unsecured card...and if you stay good they will generally raise your limit and lower your rates...

As for now...FH may be your best option.

Buy secured debt. Like a car, even "buy" your own car, take out a loan, use the money to open a savings account, then pay it back in 12 months and deposit some more money into your savings account. It should cost you about 4-6% interest, and you should make about 1% simple on savings, but its a cheap and easy way to start a good credit history.

Under exposure to normal pathogens will cause your immune system to weaken, if you have a issue with mold or other fungal/bacterial issues a purifier won't help, buy put a tiny bandaid on the problem.
